I really, really didn't want this book to finish! Marley is so close to our female mutt named Sunny Dew Rose that I can't help but cherish her more because of this book.
It is like my heart is already mourning her before she is gone so I am able to cherish each moment with her while she is still with us.
Sunny is still a puppy of two years and will still be a child at the age of 10, she refuses to grow up.
After reading about 'Marley'. I am able to certain every moment with her while most would take it for granted and will only remember the antics after their pet is gone.
Thank you John and Jenny Grogan for allowing us to feel the Sunshine of Sunny everyday she is alive.
God Bless!

Becci, you make the book sound so good I think I will get it! I'm not much of a reader as I told you but sometimes I will if the reviews are as good as yours! You, again, have inspired me to do something I haven't done in years! Read. My mother is a big reader. She is the Library Lady in Fulton. She reads all the time. Never really watching TV. Oh, they never miss Lawrence Welk on Sat. night! But other than that it is just game shows for noise. Neither can stand a quiet house. Years of plenty of grandkids around, I guess! Thank you again for the review, I'm gonna go get the book tomorrow!

Sassy,You will not be sorry for buying this book. It is funny, sad and one you will not forget about.
Even the non dog lovers will enjoy, as my Mom did.

Thanks Carla! I love this book! It is a laugh out loud read!I can commiserate with John and Jenny Grogan with their renegade dog. Sunny is as out-of-control as they get. I sure can relate to them and their patience in never giving up on Marley.
Sunny is starting to come in control somewhat but has years of work ahead of her. We will welcome every challenge. She is an adorable mutt that we wouldn't trade for any amount of money.
