Sean and David are on a buddy getaway - off to fish and catch the World Series - when they are mixed up in murder, mystery, and a whole lot of money.
Sharon, insurance scam funds now dry, is in search of the next high.
Serge is off his meds and along with Coleman, are ready to make a quick buck.
And they all collide.
If this had been my first introduction to Serge and Coleman, I don't think I would be actively looking for Tim Dorsey's other books. But, knowing what fun and craziness is in store (some 4 star favourites) - this first in the series provides some good background on how Serge and Coleman met, as well as the childhoods that helped form/disfigure their characters.
Certainly the wackiness is there, but as Dorsey admitted in an interview: Serge and Coleman were not his main characters, and this definitely shows in this book.
