Its a true depiction of what happens in Pakistan be it how all minorities are stereotyped as chorahs while the Muslas who spray acid on people are not any less of Chorahs. This novel was fulfilling owing to the vast variety of lower/lower middle class issues that we come across every day. The events as such were nothing we have never heard of but the way the author has intricately woven them together gives us a some what fresh orientation to them. For me a good book is where u end up feeling for the victims of the book and hating the villains, this novel exactly did that i felt for Alice Bhatti and i cant Hate Teddy , the surf guys and Malangi enough. Looking forward to the next write by Hanif.
