I had my doubts about this book when I first started reading it but I'm glad I stuck with it. This is the story of Nannerl, Mozart's sister, and her struggles in life trying to accept that she couldn't pursue her musical talent because of being a woman. I enjoyed being taken on a ride starting when Nannerl was a little girl and seeing her grow into a mature woman, along with all the high's and low's in her lifetime. Although Nannerl and I were born 237 years apart, I think the author did a great job at helping the reader connect with the characters and so recommend this book to any lovers of historical novels.
