1098408 The first in a series of 4 Hilary Tamar murder comedies. I am in love with this series. Just read the many raving reviews on this sight. To them I'll just add that I read the entire series every few years. I find myself thinking, "I really miss Julia and Cantrip; I should get in touch." Then, realizing that my good friends are fictional, I have to read them again.

Synopsis: Dead dude in Julia's bed while on vacation in Italy (sex is not illicit, thank goodness). She is a barrister (that's British for lawyer, y'all) and her barrister friends as well as Oxford professor Hilary Tamar (of undisclosed gender) have to solve the murder to clear Julia.
