Caveat - Karen is my wife, though I am giving you honest feedback on the book (and knowing the inspiration for at least some of these chapters!).
This is Karen's first book, and I admit to being very impressed. From start to finish, this book held my attention and entertained me, despite being about 30 years beyond the "recommended" reading age. The transitions from Nathan to Nate are seamless. Without these transitions, the story would not work.
I imagine that every child of Nathan's age (boy or girl) will sympathize with Nathan's woes, and be more than entertained by his means of handling them. I highly recommend this book for kids and their parents alike!
