Great book, reminds me a lot of Lora Leigh's Breed books but the men aren't as intense and the sex isn't as extreme. The author wrote that she had written this series in 2000 before she had a publisher and went through some of her old books to see if she could publish them now. This was a wonderful first book and thanks to Amy for letting me borrow it through Amazon Kindle.

Fury is eventually rescued from a lab by the information Ellie was able to gather as an undercover operator at the facility. She had finally found information to get a search warrant at the same time that one of the guards/technicians had found the means to torture and eventually kill Fury. She helped him as much as she could but had to leave him to be punished for what she did. When they meet later, he wants to kill her. She's just sorry he had to suffer. Now they have to find out if they can work together or if she'll have to leave the base where they are housed. I loved that this book didn't have so much of the angst at Leigh's books and I loved Fury. He was trying hard to be normal, but normal to him is so different from everyone outside of the base. I'm planning on reading the rest of the series, it just needs to go down in price.
