I was set to give this book three stars, but it got better in the end. I did not like the few chapters that changed perspective, and wish it had been done some other way, but it did make sense at the end. I really enjoyed Willie's character. Most of the questions were answered by the end of the novel, but a few were left open. Those few will make the book stick with me longer than if they were closed, and I appreciate that.

I wonder what will happen with Josh next. He was a good character, and I would like to see more of his adventures. Well worth the read, and while it wasn't horror persay, there were some grotesque parts, like when he found Willie's leg. I can see some of my kids being bothered by it.
