What a disturbing ending. I mean, really? She picks the robot? The ROBOT. Are we seriously not going to talk about the fact that he is a MACHINE? Meaning of course that he 1) Can't grow old with her 2) Can't ever have a normal relationship with her or her friends or her family (do they really think no one is going to notice that he can't age/eat/sleep?) and 3) HE CAN'T LOVE. "Oh, but they kept talking about how he broke all the rules to be with her, that goes way beyond the normal devotion for the robots!" Yeah, so he's not only a machine, he's a BROKEN machine, who is malfunctioning mentally, physically and emotionally (if he had emotions). I started out kind of liking Riiko, but this made me question her sanity. And then....the ending. What a cop out. The fact was the author couldn't make up her mind. She needed to have it both ways, so she did, at the expense of her readers. And poor Soshi- he's been in love with Riiko for years, he swallowed his pride and gave in to WHATS-HIS-FACE (can't think of the robots name right now, sorry) when Riiko picked him over Soshi, HE'S A REAL PERSON, and he still ended up being the rebound guy. What. The. BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP.

It's sad because I actually liked this series when it started out. Good art, cute story. How did it fall so far?

Sarah Was the hi wave wave really neccesary? You knew I'd see it. You could of just messaged me... and way to bash one of my favorite series... what did my joining remind you you hadn't gotten to it yet? Thank you, you cynic...

Z Russo I'm not 'bashing' the series. I actually really liked it up to the last book, and I'm giving all the other books four stars when I have time to look for them. I thought the series was funny and really sweet, but it went downhill the last book- it just wasn't a good ending. Come on, do you really think robotboy was the right decision?
