it was amazing

This was an amazing book about a missionary's journey into the heart of cannibalistic tribes in New Guinea. Sometimes books like these get bogged down with uninteresting details, but this book moved quickly and was a quick read. It was very inspiring and of course made me want to be a missionary. My favorite part was the chapter that described the daily routines of one of the families there. It was amazing how efficient and innovative they were even with limited tools and no modern conveniences. I immediately wanted to go live in the jungle and get back to nature...That is until I read the next chapter which showed the horrors of a modern couple living in the same place! After reading that, I decided that if I were to be a missionary, it would have to be in a much more modern and less tropical location! Anyway, great read.
