50.0% "Finally finished this little book I started when my dad was ill three years ago and passed. Didn't take long. The best part was describing the dancing in about the third or fourth chapter. it went quite into detail. I loved it because I am into English country dancing right now and I appreciate the trantors comment about not feeling like "casting Off"."

Denisa Dellinger This is a simple little book with nary a death, loss of fortune or crisis to tell. Fancy Day and Dick Dewey fall in love. She is just a little immature but that is because she is young. She likes to be flirted with and wear pretty dresses to be noticed. I remember watching the program from bbc and I believe it was a little different from the book. (which is always true). I think it is a story of real life and I loved the descriptions of the dancing in the beginning. I'm into English country dancing right now and appreciated Mr Dewey's comment about not feeling like "casting off".
