My all-time favorite Neil Gaiman book is still "Good Omens", but "Neverwhere" has definitely come in at #2. An amazing author, Gaiman once again pulls off the creation of an unknown world (London Below) and is able to suspend reality enough to drag you into this strange, scary and completely upside-down world that exists beneath London Above. London Below (or Neverwhere) is a "subterranean labyrinth of sewer canals and abandoned subway stations"..."a murky, candlelit realm...of monsters and saints, murderers and angels..."
Definitely a keeper!
