Best yet in the Lakota Moon Series - Much more than a romance.

I read this book straight through. Could not put it down. John Six Feathers is a hero of many facets. His deference to his parents shows his mature and steady nature, and his love for Faith Donahey eqally so. He is constant in his regard for his people, serious in his need to shield them from harm.

The Wounded Knee Massaacre is dealt with in a realistic way by this author, who takes the book way beyond romance and time travel. Mrs. White explores the prequel to the horrible incident with an eye to historical fact that is exacting and honors the Lakota who died there.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves history and wants truth in their reading, great character presentation and a terrific plot.
