Although I had this book for over 6 months before I began reading it, I have to say that I couldn't put it down after the first page was turned.
This book is a brilliant look into a world unlike any that I have ever read about. As accurate as it is sincere, the narration unfurled a story which was funny, sad, terrifying, and profound.
I found it particularly interesting that despite the narrator's clear autism, the word autism was only found once place in the book - a description of the author's experience with children with autism.
I believe that this book is vital in order to gain even a narrow glimpse into the the perspective of a child with autism.
Highly recommended.
