** spoiler alert ** 5 of 5 stars for this magnificent book.
It did live up to my expectations. Somewhere in the middle of the book, I was a bit bored, because the story was going a bit slowly and there were too many details about The Answer's plans and the marking of the Spackle and so on.
What came to me as a shock was Davy's death. I actually believed that he would live to witness a better future, to consider Todd his real brother and to be appreciated for his warm heart, because he really had a warm heart. Anyway...
A Spackle army in the end? Really good addition to the story! I can't wait to see how the war unfolds.
Overall, it was well written and I liked that I was able to see the story through Todd's and Viola's perspective. A tense reading with a strong ending.

Lauren You finally finished it! How long did it take you?

Antonia 3 weeks and something, only because I had a lot of university homework and endless courses. Amazing ending!
