Read from September 21 to 22, 2011

I went into the book thinking, "I'm bored, so I'll read this little book. It probably won't be that great."
After I got into the book, I found out it was an incredibly insightful memoir from the point of view of a little deaf, Jewish girl, Paula, who must be separated from her family in order to survive. She went through more than I could ever imagine, and the author captured the beauty, fear, and stress that Paula went through, with very few words.
In the end, Paula finds out how many Jews were killed during T4 (6 million), but she couldn't stop thinking about the ones she had been in hiding with, wondering if they had survived, and if she would ever see them again, though she doubted it.

Melissa Glad to see that you liked it. It really does make you stop and think. People shy away from books like this because they think that they are "easy" or "babyish" glad that you didn't.
