  rating: 4 of 5 stars<br/>Wow, I am getting ready to start this book and it is HUGE.  I think this will be like trying to read the Bible, which I have tried to do and failed.  I hope this will hold my attention but I am sure I will have to read some other books while working my way through this one.

<br/>Just an update.  I am about halfway through this book and it has been very interesting.  A few little parts I skipped over about history type stuff but her life has been amazing and I am only to 1974.  It is kind of strange sometimes though because I guess I kind of see her as a mother figure (because of the age difference) and to read about all her past boyfriends is sometimes uncomfortable.  I don't know why, I guess I would not want to read about my mom's past relationships...But at the same time, that is why I am reading the book so what did I expect?

<br/>I finished it and I did not find it hard to read at all.  But remember, it is a memoir and not a mystery novel so it takes some dedication.  I did enjoy it though and it is amazing to me the places she has been and the people she has met.  She must be one of the most fascinating people in the world to sit down and have a conversation with.

Let me know what you think of this. I saw a bit of her interview with Oprah about the release of this memoir and it looked interesting. Keep me posted.
