Wow, I am getting ready to start this book and it is HUGE. I think this will be like trying to read the Bible, which I have tried to do and failed. I hope this will hold my attention but I am sure I will have to read some other books while working my way through this one.

Just an update. I am about halfway through this book and it has been very interesting. A few little parts I skipped over about history type stuff but her life has been amazing and I am only to 1974. It is kind of strange sometimes though because I guess I kind of see her as a mother figure (because of the age difference) and to read about all her past boyfriends is sometimes uncomfortable. I don't know why, I guess I would not want to read about my mom's past relationships...But at the same time, that is why I am reading the book so what did I expect?

411814 Let me know what you think of this. I saw a bit of her interview with Oprah about the release of this memoir and it looked interesting. Keep me posted.
