it was amazing
Read from November 24 to 27, 2011 — I own a copy , read count: 4

One of my favourites by Lori Wick.

I see she doesn't have as many "that woman" or "that lady" phrases in this one and it seems a lot less old-fashioned than some of her period-books, but here and there she starts mentioning things like that the kids were not ashamed of their father's tears and some-such. I don't know of any teenagers who are not embarrassed when their parents cry, especially their fathers!

Other than that the father is quite weepy, I love the dialogue between them, and the characters develop at a believable pace.

As for adult content... I didn't think so. Isn't it normal for married people to be intimate? Anything intimate is just hinted at, but nothing is described, so I really don't find it abnormal or offensive.

Overall a good read
