I realized a few chapters in that I just wasn't feeling this book. I had recently finished Stiff and was eager to read some more Roach, but Spook wasn't really cutting it.

At the risk of sounding close-minded, reincarnation and ghosts don't really fit into my view of the world, so I wasn't terribly interested one way or the other as to whether Roach was able to successfully prove or disprove their existence. As with her other books, though, the writing is very clever and humorous, so for those that find this subject matter appealing, Spook would definitely be a worthwhile read.
