What little revelations are to be found in this book have been widely reported in the press, and have been discussed during many of the Vice President's concurrent interviews. If you are familiar with Steven Hayes' biography of Cheney, you already know the story. And if you are familiar with Barton Gellman's "Angler" you already know the dirty details. What is left is only a hum-drum memoir, filled with bromides, discussing Cheney's several decades of public life. An unexpected recurring theme in the book is his invocation of family. The book also contains a number of photographs of Cheney with his grandchildren.
