I dont know why this book seemed so important for me to read, it just did. The plot seemed very basic to me at first, and it was almost too predictable. Even though I didnt really care for the simplicity of it, the book itself really wasnt all that bad. I did like the refrence to the white cat, i thought it to be strange that when talking about the past and about the night and death that the color white was used also when talking about a cat. i was actually able to figure out who the doll was going to about half way through the book. Even though the book was a very simple read and wasnt too difficult to figure out i couldnt seem to put the book down.
