General response/reaction: I thought that it was a really cute story. I was confused at the beginning on how all the stories were related, but once I got to the end I realized how they were all tied in together.

Subjects, Themes, and Big Ideas: A big Theme of the book is being true to who you are. Being yourself is what makes you special. I think that this is a good topic for teenagers because a lot of them want to be people that they are not.

Characters: Little Monkey: He wants to be a human who wares shoes and a fighter who is the most noble. He gets buried under a pile of rocks for 500 years.
