it was ok

I thought this book was really depressing. It had moments where
it was more hopeful, but I just didn't care much for the story line.

It's a futuristic story about a boy named Spaz (because he has
epilepsy) and how he lives in a rotted out, degenerated area of
earth. His area is ruled by an evil master (though this master is
quite young) who makes all the rules. He meets this girl who
is from the "good side" of the earth (a place called Eden.) She,
and her kind, are genetically altered to be perfect. Spaz is what
her people call a "normal."

The book had lots of promise, but it was really sad and a let down.
I did not enjoy this book.
