Schuyler ( pronounced Skylar) has a mother in a coma, a rich grandma, a crazy school, a loyal best friend, a crush and a history she's not even aware of until her veins start to glow blue. Sadly, there's not much else to her, her friends or her classmates. All they care about is th superficial in life: designer clothes, body weight, drinking, money, etc. I never once felt drawn into the story or even found myself caring about any of the characters. This book is pure snobby New York fluff. If all you care about is fashion, boys, and big words for the pure sake of knowing them, then you may like this series. As far as I'm concerned the Croatan can kill every last character in the book.
