I'm putting this on the cookbooks shelf as it's about food, but it's not really a cookbook, even though there are recipes in the back. It is a very scary book about how wheat is bad for humans and we should all cut it out of our diets.
On a personal level, this is troubling, as I love carbs, even though eliminating wheat would in all likelihood be a healthy move. I'm thinking about doing it.
On a global level, this is scary because he basically says that the genetically modified wheat we are eating is a frankenstein monster plant that is having very deleterious effects on the body not seen prior to the introduction of genetically modified wheat. Given how widespread genetically modified food plants are, this is worrying.
There is a great deal of science in this book. I skimmed most of it to get to the takeaway points and the recipes, which sounds, I'm afraid, only tolerable.
