At times I didn't want to pick this book up but there were also times when I couldn't put it down. The story of Rosalind Franklin is so interesting but I could have done without all the long descriptions of coal and phosphates. I wanted more about her and less about what she was working on. But then again it is what she was working on the made her indispensable to science. It is amazing that all those cliquish male scientists didn't credit her for her discoveries, contributions and intelligence. It was like reading about a bunch of bratty kids on the playground always leaving someone out. Overall I liked the book because of the story but I wasn't thrilled by the story telling.
