Good first-person account of the realities of the middle years of the U.S. war in Afghanistan. A minimal amount of HooRah bombast and a good amount of pespective on the strategic and tactical aspects of the overall situation and this particular mission. Recommeneded reading for anyone discussing or debating the Afghan war.
