Maple Rabbit's newest song is loosely based on this book I read in 5th grade (and some other stuff). Apparently feline fantasy is an entire genre, which shouldn't've surprised me. Here, the internet has an article about it-- "Felines in Fantasy: Cliche or Cliched?" (what?)
