The Heart and the Fist by Eric Greitens

Absolutely Awesome! This was one of the most inspiring books I have read all year. Eric Greiten's struggle with what it means to be live a eudaimonic life of complete human flourishing made me want to be a better man. He is compassionate, brilliant, courageous, physically tough, and patriotic. When I think about what kind of man I want to be, it includes all of those adjectives. I've read books by people who are one or two of these things, but never one where a human seems to embody the complete package. I loved it so much I nagged my dad until he read it, and bought a copy for my nephews and brother. Great book, I'll probably read it again next year. I'd have to say this one is required reading for every American citizen.
