it was amazing

I don't know what it says about me that I truly enjoy end-of-the-world novel. What would happen if all the modern technology that we so enjoy today became a thing of the past? Stephen Quinn is traveling with his father and grandfather, finding goods and trading for food, medicine, and other goods. But when his father is injured, Stephen finds some kind strangers in a place called Settler's Landing.

I loved this book! It was packed with action and I found the characters compelling. I wanted to know more about Jenny and Stephen and how the families ended up here at Settler's Landing.

This book felt like the start of a series, and I look forward to reading more by Jeff Hirsch.
