You CA girls or Capitol folk may like this true story. A lobbyist for the Irvine Company gets laid off and left at the alter in pretty quick sucession. He ends up taking his recently divorced brother on his honeymoon and there they decide they're going to drop everything just travel for a year.
There's a lot that can go down over a year-long world tour. So some of it drags, but it's worth reading to the end.
