really liked it
Read in September, 2011

** spoiler alert ** It made Shauzia a more likeable character, and really gave a feel for the hardships of being a half-orphan on the streets in hard times...disguised as a boy. It also had a good plotline, about Shauzia sort of exploring her options until she figures out what to do. But it makes her seem just like Parvana, and she's supposed to be very different.
