really liked it

This is a darker and grittier entry into the MHI saga. In this one, we follow Earl Harbinger and learn a lot more about his history as he faces up to a creature that threatens to overtake the world with werewolf legions. This book was a lot closer to a real horror story, with a high body count and less levity than some of the other entries. It is, in many ways, a smaller story, with fewer threads and characters. That said, the characters that are present are well drawn and interesting. Perhaps my favorite MHI book yet, though the events end up tragic for more than a few of the characters. Another well done book by Larry C. Recommended.
