it was amazing
Read in April, 2008

I read the version that was beautifully illustrated by Ernest H. Shepard, which I would highly recommend. The pink and ink/watercolors are phenomenal.

This book is charming, sweet, and intelligent. Though thought of as a children's book, it, like the Jungle Book, can only be fully appreciated by those older than it's prime audience.

A good read for children and a must read for children at heart.
