really liked it
bookshelves: juvenile, listened-to-audiobook
Read in November, 2005

at times, i thought this book was done in the voice of a slightly more sophisticated (or older) junie b. jones. this author loves language and uses it in lots of stretchy ways which makes it fun to listen to, but sometimes (often) doesn’t really sound like a fourth grader. however, if you just listen to the language and enjoy it, it’s quite good. she’s got excellent ways of describing feelings and emotions and it’s just overall a lovely little book.
