it was amazing
Read in January, 2008

This is not as easy of a read, as it is written in southern slang. So I can not speed read it. Rob likes to call books not in normal English "Kryptonite to my Super Powers" as I usually can read a book in a day, but this one took me a bit longer. If you are a normal reader, the language probably won't bother you.

BUT, the story is touching, inspiring, moving, classic. Really another must read, which I have never read before and wouldn't have picked up if it wasnt' a book club pick. But I would put it as one of my top 2 books each person should read. (The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom is my other)

This book shows the true power of LOVE! Charity is stronger than anything else in the world. Uncle Tom when faced with true Evil, stays true to the faith and loves. That is a powerful message.
