The weakest in the series! While I love his writing, and the vast majority of the story was an exciting and engaging read filled with interesting characters and situations, the ending is a huge let down. While fitting to the themes explored in the series, I felt the ending might as well have been "and nothing anyone ever did mattered." So, yes, a fitting end to the series, but not a very satisfying one.

Despite this, I have to say the series is on the whole wonderful -- particulary Chasm City and Redemption Ark -- and since I so strongly recommend reading those stories, you should read this one as well.
