it was amazing

A very solid first novel, The Panama Laugh is something of a roller coaster ride. Told in 1st person POV, the main character, Frosty "Don't Call Me Frosty" Bogart wakes up in the Central American jungle, with about five years missing from his memory. From there it's a mad rush of bullets, blood, zombies launched from catapults mounted to speedboats, conspiracy theories, zombies, viral videos, zeppelins, porn/blogger stars, zombies, really, really underground San Francisco, and zombies.

Were there a few plot holes? Maybe. I'm still trying to catch up, honestly. And anyway, while you're reading, you won't really care. You'll be too busy enjoying The Panama Laugh.
