Read from September 26 to 28, 2011

too many cliffhangers with unsatisfying flashbacks (when the narrator revisits the events thru a character's memory. is there a different word for that?). But I was intrigued with the sights/sounds/smells of the era. I appreciated that even tho it was set in 1659, the translator used modern vernacular.
