This was my first experience with the horror genre and I have to say, I'm a little disapointed with it. It was actually a pretty predictable book, which was a surprise because I would never have thougt Stephen King could be predictable.

I did enjoy that the world in this book was one that we could all easily slip into with no problems. It makes me glad that I no longer live in a small town though because I probably would have been more afraid if I did.

I can't deny the fact that the events in this story could take place in any small town across America, which makes it a little creepier to know that fact.

I won't say that this will be my last tephen King story, but I will say that this is probably not one to start with if you've never read anything by him.

Overall, it wasn't a bad read.
