Jane Was it the length or the content that made it hard to read for you?

Kathy content for sure. I see pain and suffering every day and usually read to escape that. What man does deliberately to man is unfathomable to me.

Jane I agree. There was so much focus on the evil POW part, that it was hard to remember the message of redemption at the end. I thought it was just me since most of the people I know have rated it 5 stars.

We should have been in a bookclub together in Appleton for sure!

Kathy the book club read this book.. I never make it but I do read the books (mostly) I just read the julia child biography. Dearie..really liked it.
