What a clever, imaginative, and low-tech book! No fancy pop-ups or flaps to open. No sounds, no glitter, no mirrors. Just a bunch of dots. But the cleverness of the author has turned these dots into a fascinating book that should interest just about every child. It begins with a simple yellow dot on a white background, and the instruction to "Press here and turn the page." When the page is turned, you see two yellow dots and another command. And so it goes through the book. The yellow dot is joined by red and blue dots, they move around, change size, and enchant the reader. Such a simple concept, but so enthralling.
