Incredible stories. It's amazing to see how much modern American culture is derived from this old, dusty Greek stuff. Great story. It's easy to see why it has lasted the ages. The emotional conflicts (whether the be human or divine) are timeless and captivating. We all want to root for Achilles but can't quite. We don't quite want to root for Hector but can't help but. Priam is a great queen and Helen...well, she'll be one of the most controversial women forever. Timeless. Again, the translation makes a huge difference for understanding and enjoyment. Find a good one.
