This was OK, but I found it a bit tedious toward the end. I understand it was what the hostages were experiencing, but there's no excuse for a writer to be tiresome. The ending was sudden, but -- again -- art imitates life. Given the awards it received and the acclaim from reviewers I respect, I expected more.
