Not a bad book, but not nearly as good as the others. I think Delaney struggled writing the book in first person from Grimalkin's perspective. It seems to me that the whole point of this book is to simply gain insight into the concept of the Witch Assassin. Some things that I thought warranted a lot of time, were mentioned in passing and some things just magically happened as plot devices(Thorne). I hope the Alice book later in the series doesn't suffer from the same shortcomings.
