** spoiler alert ** Yes it did take me a while to read this book and honestly i thought it would be like every other wolf book ive read or out there. But thankful Maggie brought a whole different element i neglected to think about.
Usually these books are filled with lust and attraction for a really hot guy whose mysterious and dark etc. But our 2 main characters are quite the opposite. Grace is a kind of quiet girl who loves to read books and Sam looks like a kind of shabby mop headed emo kid, tall, lanky and not typical interest in most books. But she made it work, they've loved each other for 7 years since the day he saved her from being mauled his own pack. Grace has always longed to be a wolf and live with them and Sam has always wanted to be with Grace.
His final spring of turning to a human he told him self he would change that but he never had the guts to talk to her till the day he was shot. He shows up at her back door bleeding to death and thats when their love story starts.

These star crossed lovers(dont think of romeo and juliet when i say this) have until winter to be with each other. They enjure a lot in the short time learning about one another and then there worlds start to collide when Graces friend gets bitten and wolves start showing up around her school. Its up to her and Sam to figure out what is going on. Grace also wants to find a cure to keep Sam with her forever.

This is a story of going through things to be with the one you love.
