really liked it
bookshelves: comedy, plays
Read in February, 2004

Not as funny as Twelfth Night, and not as gripping as Othello, this play is mostly cool to see just to witness Shakespeare's works in progress. Don John is an extremely flat character, ably played by the wooden Keanu Reeves in a film adaptation, who clearly presages Iago.
