Jim Butcher delivers another excellent installment in the Harry Dresden series. I was happy to have a break from all the Red Court vampire intrigue, and all those undercurrents of the Black Council and all take a back seat in this tale. Instead, we concentrate more on the Nickelheads (officially known as the Denarians, you know, the Fallen that inhabit the 30 pieces of silver?) who seem to have plans to get mobster Marcone into their club. Or, do they? It's an exciting read, replete with the humour I've come to expect and love :-)

Small grouch: in the first few pages, it seemed as if there had been some sloppy editing: what was probably "if" instead appeared as "an" twice, and there was another error where I think "of" was used instead of "in". It made for some choppy reading.
