Wonder Boys
by Michael Chabon
by Michael Chabon
I recognize Chabon's strength of his characters in the two books I have read. He tends to tie a Jewish bond between most of them, so this book may not be for you Jesse James types. The main character, Grady, is a curious fellow failing his third marriage. You get to see the well rounded lifestyle of a writer finding an angle to get a novel completed. During the process, the story goes on many curves as he survives his lifestyle around many other writer's of success. The ride of this story and Grady's lifestyle paints a great picture of how people end up on the jerry springer show. Without any spoilers, take a chance. It was a very entertaining read.
Haven't seen the movie cause Michael Douglas movies back in the day tend to revolve a whole story around him showing his arse after leaving the smush room, not even bothering to get a cab ride and a glass of water for the mrs. sharon stone and mrs. demi moore, disrespectively. Cruel trick Mr Douglas. That is my final thought, "Take care of yourself and each other."
