I had a very difficult time with this novel. As hard as I tried to connect with what was happening, I just couldn't ignore the many flaws. Carrie Jones is not a bad writer, but this novel could have been improved in so many ways. What frustrated me the most was the lack of likability in the characters. I found everyone was either really bland or really annoying.
